Training and Development
Tron has enjoyed great success in the training of First Nation people in the skilled trades. The commitment to providing Northern Saskatchewan’s First Nation’s people with significant training opportunities is extended to all projects. With the award of new contracts comes the implementation of local labour employment systems and policies. This helps to ensure local economic growth and prosperity.

While at the job site, apprenticeship training takes place in the plumbing/pipefitting, electrical, and welding trades. Tron has one of the strongest crews of highly skilled, professional First Nations tradespeople.

Tron Power is well positioned to take advantage of the opportunities presented by new mining and construction projects. Our commitment to training and our system approach to construction have resulted in labour productivity that can out produce anyone in the industry.

Administration
Employment opportunities are not limited to the job sites as English River First Nation’s members assume administrative positions at the Saskatoon office. Administrative duties being performed by First Nation members include financial statements and bank reconciliation, accounts receivables and payables, as well as Reception duties. In addition, other members are pursuing careers in the Human Resources and marketing fields.
